Salted Tahini Date Chocolate Bark

This Tahini Date Bark is the kind of goodness that hits every note - chewy, creamy, crunchy, rich, sweet and a little salty, and made with just a handful of beautiful wholefood ingredients.

It's ridiculously easy to make.

Method

  1. Gently tear or slice the dates open, remove the pits and lay them flat onto a piece of baking paper in a single layer.
  2. Lay another piece of baking paper on top then roll them out so they get nice and thin.
  3. Pull off the top layer of baking paper, spread over the tahini and smooth it gently across the dates.
  4. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler (a bowl over a lightly simmering pot of water) and pour it over the tahini layer, smoothing it out with the back of a spoon.
  5. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and pop into the fridge or freezer to set. This takes about 30 minutes.
  6. Once firm, break or slice into bark-style pieces. Store in the fridge and enjoy anytime you want a little something sweet that still feels good.

Perfect with a cup of tea or coffee for any time of day!
