GoodFor is powered by teams of passionate people with Store Leaders that embody what we are setting out to achieve. Store Leaders play an integral role in GoodForās strength and are responsible for all aspects of their store. The Store Leaders links the store experience to the broader vision of the company, and works alongside head office to drive innovation.
Our Store Leaders are solution orientated, effective motivators and clear communicators. They are attentive to detail, habitually organised and thrive in a systems driven environment. They are naturally attuned to detail, and believe in doing little things well. Their role encompasses team development, inventory management and facilitating a world class store experience.
A week in this role is largely spent in front of customers and engaging with our community on the shop floor. The Store Leader must thrive in those interactions and model exceptional customer service while setting the pace. They get stuck in and work alongside their team.
As a growing business, GoodFor values innovation, communication and attitude above all else. The Team Leader is motivated by playing a key role in a company that actively seeks to change the world for the better, through reducing food and packaging waste.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to write a cover letter outlining who they are beyond their experience.

Our Store Leads are often supported by a Deputy. The Deputy Lead role is even more floor-focused than the Store Leader, but has the skills and capacity to support administrative tasks as needed. They provide accountability, leadership and stability through a second relationship between the store and Head Office.
The Deputy Lead is at ease in a customer service role and thrives off building relationships with their community. They are naturally attuned to detail, and believe in doing little things well. Their role encompasses team development, community engagement and a hands on approach to daily operations. With training, they have the confidence & capacity to support the store in the managerās absence, and enjoy the challenge. They contribute to the overall presentation and success of the store through implementing daily routines and working alongside the Store Lead to constantly innovate.
A week in this role is spent in front of customers and engaging with our customers on the shop floor. From time to time, they are engaged in the underlying admin of the store so as to be prepared to do so in the managerās absence. The Deputy Lead is a consistent and ambitious team member that models the customer experience we are known for.
As a growing business, GoodFor values reliability, communication and attitude above all else. The Deputy Leader is motivated by playing a key role in a company that actively seeks to change the world for the better, through reducing food and packaging waste.
