
Matcha Bounty Bars

Plant-based Bounty Bars with a twist! Filled with coconutty goodness, Heilala vanilla and our delicious dark maple syrup, then covered in Fair Trade 70% chocolate drops. Include our organic matcha powder for that extra boost of energy, or leave it out for a classic Bounty Bar.

2/3 Cup Coconut Oil

¼ Cup Maple Syrup

1 tsp High Grade Matcha powder

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Pinch of Flaky Sea Salt (optional)

Method

Line a baking tray with baking/wax paper and pop into the fridge (this will set the chocolate faster later)

Melt the coconut oil, then add maple & vanilla and mix thoroughly

Add desiccated coconut and matcha, mix thoroughly again and pop into the fridge to cool

Melt the chocolate drops in a bowl over hot water

Remove the tray and coconut filling from the fridge and use your hands to make short sausage shapes

Dip the bottom half of each into the melted chocolate and put it onto the trayĀ

When they are all done, put them into the fridge for a couple of minutes

Pull them out and dip the other side, covering all of the filling

Once they are all coated, fill any gaps with whatever chocolate is remaining and top with sprinkle of flaky sea salt, or coconut (optional)

Set in the fridge for 10 minutes
