Polenta is delicious, gluten-free and made from organic corn. It is quick to cook and super wholesome. You can add it to stews or slow cooked dishes or make it into a paste for make crunchy corn-flavoured chips! Seriously tasty when dipped into something creamy or served alongside your main meal.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups polenta 
3 cups water or vegetable stock 
1 tsp garlic powder 
1 tsp onion powder 
1/2 tsp sea salt 
1/2 tsp ground pepper 
1 tsp paprika

Method:

Add the polenta and water or vege stock to a saucepan and bring to a boil.

Once it has begun to boil, reduce to a simmer and whisk in the spices.

Continue whisking until the polenta is smooth and thick, then remove from the heat.

Place the polenta in a lined baking tray and smooth out on top.

Let it set in the fridge for about 1 hour.

Preheat your oven to 200°C.

Cut the hardened polenta into thick rectangles then place on a lined baking tray.

Bake for about 1 hour or until crispy and golden.

Serve with your favourite dip or sauce and enjoy.
