Uses

Cacao is super tantalising as a hot or cold beverage, mixed in with milk (or water) to make a paste and then heated with your favourite milk. If you’re a caffeine fan, you can even add some coffee to make it into a mocha, or take the nutrition profile up a notch by adding maca powder, coconut oil and vanilla extract. Cacao powder is delicious in chocolate-flavoured everything; from smoothies and acai bowls, raw slices and cakes; to energy balls and bars, brownies, cookies, ice-cream or simply in raw chocolate alongside coconut oil and cacao butter. If you’re a big chocolate fan and wanting to steer clear of the refined sugars, replace chocolate and cocoa powder with cacao powder for a less refined version but much richer, fuller chocolate flavour.
