These nibs have been hand made by the women in Papua New Guinea. They are gently roasted, hand cracked into pieces and then the shell removed by a small winnower. The sizing is not what one is used to due to their hand made nature, as usually cacao nibs are made by machinery. All the health benefits are contained and optimised due to the gentle hand made nature of these nibs. Cacao nibs are packed with antioxidants, such as flavonoids, which help combat oxidative stress in the body and support overall health.

Uses

These are excellent to add to a fruit bowl, Mint Chocolate Smoothie Bowl;, sprinkle over steamed vegetables, add to you pepper grinder or put in a tossed salad. They can also be used as sugar free chocolate chips in baking.
