Hemp hearts have a similar look to sesame seeds, a similar taste to pinenuts, and are considered the world’s most nutritious seed. These seeds have been removed from their hard shell to create a 100% raw culinary product that tastes simply delicious. They are spray free and grown organically, but not on 'certified organic' land. 

Uses

Hemp hearts have a light nutty aroma that makes them a great alternative to chia seeds in smoothies for a thick and satiating consistency. They also work very well in cooking or baking, both sweet and savoury, however it is best to stick with raw recipes or those at very low temperatures to hold the integrity of all the seed’s amazing nutrients. A simple use of hemp hearts is alongside an array of other nuts and seeds to sprinkle as a salad topper or try our hemp and walnut pesto pasta recipe.
