About

This fine desiccated coconut is made with minimal processing and absolutely no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. It comes from the dried white flesh of organically grown premium coconuts that is then dehydrated and finely shredded, and provides an abundance of healthy fats and dietary fibre. Desiccated coconut is a traditional favourite that has a delightful chewiness to it with a fresh coconutty flavour. Uses

Desiccated coconut is a wonderful, chewy, coconutty addition to muesli and granola recipes, porridge bowls, chia and rice puddings, and of course smoothies and smoothie bowls. Mix it through your favourite trail mix for a delectable flavour addition, or simply sprinkle it on top of yoghurt and fresh fruit for a quick breakie or snack. Desiccated coconut can also be a hit in Asian-inspired savoury dishes such as fish cakes, rice paper rolls and curries. For extra flavour, toast your desiccated coconut in the oven with a little sweetener like maple syrup or honey drizzled over the top. This makes a tasty ingredient in fruit crumble toppings, bliss balls, energy bars, muffins, cookies and loaves.
