GoodFor Wellington is our lower North Island refillery store that stocks our entire range of wholefoods, snacks, plastic-free homewares and a range of local grocery items. You'll also find our EcoStore refillery stations here, alongside a selection of oils, syrups and vinegars that are exclusively available in-store only.

Our Welly store is located in the Te Aro centre of Wellington, on Jessie Street where a lot of our customers visit our store by foot or bike. With Moore Wilson’s and Commonsense just around the corner, it’s a great place to get all your shopping done in one go.

Jessie Street is a fun street with local shop Nature Baby next door, and Good Books and the Prefab cafe just opposite us.

On Sundays there’s the big Harbourside Market on the waterfront which is only a 10min walk distance to GoodFor - a lot of customers finish their shopping at GoodFor afterwards.

The team

The Welly store is made up of a dynamic and friendly team with a mix of students, artists and environmentalists. Each and everyone of them brings something unique to the store.

Cosi is our Wellington Store Leader. Originally from Germany, she’s been managing the Wellington store since early 2021. Cosi is staying true to the German stereotype, she loves to run an efficient store and enjoys creating a great team atmosphere with the focus on excellent customer service and store cleanliness.

Welly customers love coffee and chocolates. Often we get a lot of people who work around the offices pop in for some yummy choc snacks in their lunch break to get them through the day.

In-store experiences

• Fresh sourdough bread daily from local bakery Wellington Sourdough. This is the best sourdough in Wellington, in our humble opinion. Their long cool fermentation period results in delicious sourdough bread which deliciously crunchy crusts. They don't hang around for long, so make sure you get in early to get your sourdough fix.

• Kokako cold brew coffee on tap. Perfect as a pick-me-up on a sunny day. We have our regulars that love our cold brew and keep our supply fresh! 

• Refill Maple syrup on tap. Our customers love Maple Syrup so much that we've created a dedicated station.

• Grind your own coffee. There's nothing like the smell of fresh coffee, and grinding your own makes the in-store experience all the more wholesome.
