Serious Popcorn collab with Ella’s 3 flavour variations.

No movie night is complete without a big bowl of popcorn but the usual stuff is far from nourishing, so why not spice it up with these 3 super healthy and super tasty variations! Whether you’re a sweet tooth or more of a savoury person, these delicious twist on a classic snack are sure to satisfy and can be whipped up in less than 5 minutes.

Ingredients

matcha popcorn 1

Matcha Sesame

½ cup popcorn kernels (8 cups popped)

1 tablespoon coconut oil

1-2 teaspoons matcha

3 tablespoons sesame seeds

1 tablespoon coconut sugar

 

Coconut Curry

½ cup popcorn kernels (8 cups popped)

1 tablespoon coconut oil

1 tablespoon curry powder

¼ cup shredded coconut

 

Cinnamon Maca

cinnamon popcorn 1

½ cup popcorn kernels (8 cups popped)

1 tablespoon coconut oil

1 teaspoon maca powder

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon brown rice malt syrup

 

Method

To pop the popcorn, heat the coconut oil in a large sauce pan then add the popcorn kernels.

Place the lid on the pan and regularly shake the pot to toss the kernels.

After a few minutes the kernels will all be popped and at this point, turn off the heat.

Now add your choice of seasoning to the pot and toss until all the popcorn is evenly coated.

Transfer to a bowl and enjoy!
