About
Mutti Polpa Finely Chopped Tomatoes combines the juice of the tomato with its thinly diced flesh, and is able to retain all the freshness of just picked fruit. It takes 5kg of fresh tomatoes to make 1kg of Mutti Polpa. It is made by the patented Mutti cold crushing method which ensures it retains all the flavour and fragrance of a ripe tomato (and is still a closely guarded secret to this day).
Mutti has worked closely with the WWF in Italy to help farmers find sustainable ways to reduce their water consumption and CO2 emissions. The Italian WWF not only set goals, but it also allowed farmers to analyze and review data to identify what they can do.

Uses
Perfect for both quick cook dishes and dishes that cook slowly or at high temperatures. Great as a meatball sauce, in lentil or shepards pies, slow cooker meals or as a pasta sauce base.
