Roasted Salted Peanuts
Peanuts are not real nuts. They’re legumes which have the peculiar habit of ripening underground where the fruits appear to function as roots, absorbing mineral nutrients directly from the soil. A favourite food for children and adults alike, peanuts pack a serious nutritional punch. They are rich in protein, dietary fibre and other vital nutrients. Did you know that the antioxidant level in peanuts actually rises when they are cooked? These scrumptious, crunchy peanuts have been roasted in high oleic sunflower oil and lightly salted. They have a mouth-watering toasted flavour and nutty aroma, with nothing artificial added.
Roasted salted peanuts are a tasty anytime snack on their own, added to platters or included in muesli, granola, porridge, smoothie bowls, baked goods, salads, rice dishes and pretty much any other savoury dish. Roughly chop them to use as a garnish for thick soups and stews. You could even grind them up to make a delicious, creamy nut butter.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
