Organic Sundried Tomatoes


These sundried tomatoes are made of organically grown red tomatoes, harvested at the peak of ripeness and then dried naturally in the sun with just a little bit of salt added. This procedure allows tomatoes to retain their nutritional value while intensifying their taste. They have a lovely rich red colour, a salty taste and a firm yet chewy consistency.


Spice up your next meal with some sundried tomato pesto, or dice them and mix into your cooked green beans or fresh tossed salad. Sundried tomatoes may also be preserved in olive oil alongside other ingredients such as rosemary, basil, tomatoes, dried paprika and garlic. Snack on sundried tomatoes on their own or serve them alongside olives, feta, cheese and crackers on an antipasti platter. Roughly chop sundried tomatoes and add them to sauces, dips and dressings for extra flavour. They work anywhere fresh or canned tomatoes do!
