Organic Raw Hazelnuts Whole


Rich in vitamin E and a powerful antioxidant that helps maintain the integrity of cell membranes and skin by protecting them from harmful free radicals. These whole raw hazelnuts are a versatile pantry staple for use in sweet and savoury recipes, as a base in many dairy-free recipes and a crunchy addition to trail mixes and breakfast bowls.


Hazelnuts are delicious eaten as they are or mixed with your favourite combination of additional nuts, seeds and dried fruits for a tantalising trail mix. They can be roughly chopped and sprinkled as a crunchy topper on salads, curries, soups and stews, or ground down to make a fresh hazelnut butter. A favourite recipe using organic hazelnuts is homemade hazelnut mylk. Simply blend up 1L of water with a handful of hazelnuts, add a pinch of salt and your favourite sweetener then strain through a nut mylk bag or clean cloth. Hazelnut mylk has a mouth-watering creamy consistency, perfect for addition to a bowl of granola, muesli and porridge, or to add a yummy milkiness to smoothies. Hazelnuts can also make a useful base for pestos, dips and sauces as they are easy to blend with additional ingredients after being soaked for 12 hours or so.
