Organic Potato Starch


This organic potato starch is made from organically grown potatoes that have been peeled, mixed with water and then dehydrated to form potato starch flour. Due to this unique process it contains resistant starch, which functions kind of like soluble fibre and therefore has various benefits for digestive health. It is a light and very fine flour that readily absorbs water when heated, therefore it works well as a thickening agent. It lends a light, soft and moist texture to baked goods that is hard to match with any other flour. The milling of these organic potatoes is done with meticulous care using traditional methods to bring exceptional quality. There has been no chemical bleaching, no alcohol treatment, no additives, no anti-bacterial agents, no anti-fungal agents and no bromate added.
