Organic Oats Rolled Quick


Oats are nutrient-rich grains packaged with the natural goodness of whole grain, dietary fibre and protein. They are partially cooked, dried and then rolled and pressed a little thinner than jumbo oats so that they cook more quickly. The thin flakes only take approximately three or four minutes to cook, which makes them easy to include in a myriad of sweet and savoury recipes. They have a pleasant, nutty flavour that makes for a delicious breakfast cereal and a versatile baking ingredient.


Quick rolled oats have the benefit of cooking much quicker than jumbo rolled oats, ideal for when you want to whip up a delicious and nutritious dish in a rush. They are versatile to use as a base for granolas, mueslis and crumbles, as well as cake bases, tarts and puddings. They can be used to make into a porridge alongside your choice of milk, yoghurt, fresh fruit and other flavourings like vanilla extract, cinnamon and maple syrup. Make your own bircher muesli using quick rolled oats, soaking them in water or milk overnight with dried fruit, nuts and seeds. Bircher is delicious when topped with a homemade jam, a sprinkling of cinnamon, yoghurt and grated apple. If you’re into your plant-based milk, these quick oats are the perfect base to make fresh oat milk.
