Organic Cacao Powder Raw

This raw cacao powder is produced from certified organic cacao beans that have been cold-pressed in small batches. The cacao solids are then cold milled into this fine powder at low temperatures (below 47°C) and without chemicals. The result is pure chocolate-y goodness in its most natural form, without sugar or other additives. Raw cacao powder is packed with important nutrients including dietary fibre, iron, magnesium and flavonoid antioxidants. Cacao powder is an absolute pantry staple if you consider yourself a home baker. It is the most useful and tastiest addition to raw desserts, breakfast dishes, smoothies and hot beverages.

Uses

Organic raw cacao is super tantalising as a hot or cold beverage, mixed in with milk (or water) to make a paste and then heated with your favourite milk. If you’re a caffeine fan, you can even add some coffee to make it into a mocha, or take the nutrition profile up a notch by adding maca powder, coconut oil and vanilla extract. Cacao powder is delicious in chocolate-flavoured everything; from smoothies and acai bowls, raw slices and cakes; to energy balls and bars, brownies, cookies, ice-cream or simply in raw chocolate alongside coconut oil and cacao butter. If you’re a big chocolate fan and wanting to steer clear of the refined sugars, replace chocolate and cocoa powder with cacao powder for a less refined version but much richer, fuller chocolate flavour.
