Uses

Organic brazil nuts are a tasty and satiating snack on their own or added to a combination of other nuts, seeds and dried fruits for a delicious trail mix. Eat them whole or roughly chop them up and use as a topper on porridge, smoothie bowls and even salads, curries, soups and stews. To activate your own brazil nuts, soak them in filtered water for 12-24 hours and then slowly dehydrate them on a low heat. Activated brazil nuts have all the important nutrients and enzymes released from the nut so you can absorb up all their amazing health benefits. Soaked brazil nuts can be used in homemade nut mylk by adding a handful of nuts to approximately 1L of water, a pinch of salt and your choice of natural sweetener (honey, maple syrup or coconut sugar are all great options) to a blender, blending and then straining through a nut mylk bag or clean cloth. Brazil nut mylk is a deliciously creamy addition to breakfast foods, as well as in tea, coffee and other hot beverages. In raw vegan food prep, brazil nuts can come in super handy as a base for nut cheeses, creams, pestos and butters.
