Gingerbread Cookies Jar Mix
For a limited time only, and just in time for Christmas we have our very own Gingerbread Cookies Jar Mix including a cookie cutter so you have everything you need to make delicious gingerbread cookies this festive season. This jar mix is such a great Christmas gift – it’s the perfect secret Santa present or gift for the kids teachers and even that person who has everything!
All you need in addition to the jar mix is 150g unsalted butter, 3 tbsp brown rice syrup (or your favourite sweetener alternative like honey or maple syrup) and 1 beaten egg.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 180 degrees. Pour jar contents into a large bowl and mix. Add wet ingredients and combine. In the bowl, roll the mixture into a ball and press together. On a floured bench, roll dough out to a 4mm thickness and cut out shapes. Place cookies on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for 10 minutes. Completely cool before decorating if desired.
Makes 18-20 cookies, depending on the thickness.
Ingredients: Whole Wheat Flour, Brown Sugar, Ground Ginger, Cinnamon, Baking Powder, Pink Himalayan Salt, Nutmeg
