These delicious and creamy New Zealand-made dark chocolate buttons are dairy-free, egg-free, and full of antioxidants and the “happy hormone”, serotonin, which will boost your mood and provide a feeling of happiness. They are 100% ethically sourced and made up of 70% cocoa solids, making them rich and creamy in flavour and texture. They are scrumptious to eat as is or they make a tasty, creamy addition to your baking, using them as a nourishing substitute for your classic chocolate chips.

Uses

Enjoy these chocolatey delights as a quick snack to satisfy your sweet cravings or mix them up with your favourite nuts, seeds and dried fruits for a tasty trail mix. Melt them down into liquid chocolate for an array of recipes, such as these Vegan Magnums, chocolate-dipped seasonal fruit or in other chocolate-based recipes. In order to maintain the nutrient integrity of the chocolate buttons, when melting them down in softly boiling water make sure you keep the temperature below 40°C and constantly swirl the chocolate around within the pot. Chocolate buttons can also be chopped finely for addition into cookies, muffins, bliss balls and energy bars.
