Organic 00 Bakers Flour

This bakers flour is made from wheat that has had the germ and bran removed then has been slowly stoneground, in a traditional manner, to give the flour a lighter, finer texture. The 00 rating indicates that this is the most refined flour (i.e. the finest) with the lowest level of bran. It has no additives, no agents, no chemical bleaching and no bromate in it. It acts as an all-purpose organic flour that creates a silky dough for making bread and pasta. 00 bakers flour maintains a yummy chewiness to it once cooked.

Uses

00 bakers flour is milled specifically for baking homemade breads but can also be kept in the pantry as an all-purpose flour for use in cakes, scones, muffins and any other recipes that call for plain flour. It is also a beautiful base for homemade pasta, providing a tasty chewy texture once cooked. Remember to add a raising agent, such as baking powder, when baking with 00 bakers flour.
