Are all of your products organic?
Not quite. Around 80% of our products are organic and we are always looking to find organic replacements for the ones that are not.
Are all of your products sourced locally?
We source our products locally where possible, however in order to stock the range we do – it is not possible to source everything in NZ. We are always looking to improve our supply chain though!
Is GoodFor NZ Owned & Operated?
Yes we are! We are a small operation which begun early 2017 in Auckland. We have a small number of Kiwi stakeholders also.
How many locations do you have?
We now have 6 locations in total in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. Our main headquarters are based in Grey Lynn, Auckland. Our locations are all present on our contact page which you can check out here. We are currently expanding throughout NZ so keep an eye out for new openings.
Can I bring my own jars into the store to refill?
Yes you can! We encourage people to bring in their own packaging as often as possible. All you need to do is get our lovely staff to weigh your containers/jars before you fill them, we can then remove/tare their weight from the price at the end.
Can I bring plastic containers into the store to refill?
Yes you can! We don’t mind people using plastic, we just don’t like single-use plastic. If you are reusing your old plastic containers that is great.
Do you have parking facilities?
Ponsonby – there is off-street parking nearby on Ponsonby Rd or in the local supermarket carpark. Parnell & Takapuna stores have allocated parks outside. New Lynn is located inside LynnMall so you can park in the mall carpark and there’s off street parking in both Wellington and Christchurch.
Do you have bike parking?
Yes! In Takapuna, Ponsonby & Parnell we have bike racks outside, and in Christchurch there are bike racks near by in The Welder.
Do you sell reusable carry bags?
We sure do! Check out this section of our online store for the range. You’ll see we sell a wide range of other reusable products to help you in your waste-free efforts.
Is your home delivery packaging recyclable/compostable?
Yes it is! The paper bags are compostable and the boxes can be dumped in with your home recycling or repurposed. There is no plastic in site with our deliveries.
Why was I charged a “packing fee”? Each item is packed fresh to order, it has been individually weighed to your specification, packed or double-packed into a paper bag, sealed and noted with the product name & weight. Unfortunately there isn’t a more efficient way to do this with keeping the product super fresh.
Do you stock more products in-store than you do online?
Yes! Not everything is available online yet. We also have a wide range of liquids available for refilling such as oils, vinegars and syrups, as well as personal items like shampoo, body wash and cleaning supplies in-store.
