The mornings and evenings have been getting cooler lately and it’s getting to that time where you just feel like a warm cup of hot chocolate and a choccy or hot cross bun right ! Instead of reaching for the store-bought, often loaded with sugar drinking chocolate mixes, why not make your own blend! 

Serves 2

Ingredients

2 cups nut mylk
2 Tbsp raw cacao powder
1 Tbsp maca powder
2 Tbsp maple syrup*
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp coconut oil* 

Method:

Simply add all of the ingredients into a saucepan and whisk until combined and no lumps remain.

Gently heat while stirring consistently until it reaches the desired temperature.

Pour into two mugs and sip away. Enjoy with hot cross buns or Easter eggs this Easter!
