Chia Pudding x 3

Chia seeds are one of the world’s greatest wonders. How a seed so small can expand to nine times their weight in liquid and be packed with so much nutrition, I don’t know! But what I do know is that when they are soaked in nut mylk and a few other delicious ingredients they make this sweet and delicious treat known as chia pudding. All it takes is a jar, four or five simple ingredients and a few minutes then you’ve got yourself an uber healthy and tasty breakfast or snack.Chia pudding finished 6

Classic Chia Pudding

Ingredients

3 tbsp chia seeds

1 cup nut mylk

1 tbsp maple syrup*

1 tsp cinnamon

 

Method

In a small jar mix the chia seeds and cinnamon together, ensuring there are no lumps of cinnamon.

Add the maple syrup and nut mylk then stir well to combine.

Put the lid on the jar and refrigerate for at least one hour.

 

Cacao Chia Pudding

Ingredients

3 tbsp chia seeds

1 cup nut mylk

1 tsp cacao powder

1 tbsp cacao nibs

1 tbsp maple syrup*

 

Method

In a small jar mix the chia seeds and cacao powder together, ensuring there are no lumps of cacao powder.

Add the maple syrup, cacao nibs and nut mylk then stir well to combine.

Put the lid on the jar and refrigerate for at least one hour.

Matcha Chia Pudding

Ingredients

3 tbsp chia seeds

1 cup nut mylk

1 tbsp maple syrup*

½-1 tsp matcha powder

 

Method

In a small jar mix the chia seeds and matcha powder together, ensuring there are no lumps of matcha powder.

Add the maple syrup and nut mylk then stir well to combine.

Put the lid on the jar and refrigerate for at least one hour.
